games.nrw was founded on December 7, 2017 by around 30 members of the digital games industry prior to the German Developer Award ceremony.
A major goal was to further expand the community for digital games through a dedicated Games Speaker conversing with political stakeholders to further strengthen the framework conditions in the federal state.
